Dr. Roti Balogun is a Global HR thought leader and Tech Innovator focused on accelerating the future of work employability and entrepreneurial outcomes through technology. Roti is currently Founder & CEO of WESOnline, an AI-powered talent marketplace that connects companies, professional bodies and schools to enable guided mentorship, experiential learning and virtual internship experiences. He currently represents the Federal government of Nigeria's Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy as the Global Mentoring Lead Partner for the largest mentoring program at scale for 3 million Nigerian technical talent (3MTT) leveraging the global diaspora network of technology professionals in partnership with Google.
Prior to this, he was the Chief Talent Officer for Chase leading c-suite succession, skills and talent development practices for over 150,000 employees at JP Morgan Chase globally. He has also held roles of increasing responsibility across multiple industries at General Electric (GE) as the Chief Talent Officer for the GE Power (Vernova) business, CHRO for GE & Baker Hughes International Markets (Sub-Saharan Africa) and other roles at Ericsson spanning Technology Services, Talent Management and HR Business Strategy across 43 countries in Africa.
Dr. Balogun leads the Steam Innovation Foundation, a non-profit which aims to scale 4IR and Additive Education across schools in Africa and serves on the board of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) Graduate School of Education, including several other private company and technology start-ups boards.
